Short Film Fest

“TV Spot for the international short film festival Regard Sur Le Court Métrage Au Saguenay. The idea was to promote the festival in a unusual way and also, being able to use the TV spot in print.

The festival’s director asked me to work around a specific thematic: objects. I decided to use many film set item alongside usual things to re-create a camera. You can find there a lot of grip item, some Zacuto rig part, pills, glasses, techie gear… a big mess!

I shot it with Dragon over a weekend at Atelier 288 using two synched cameras ( 5dmII for the top view and the 7D for the side view ).”

2040 is a short video that will be shown before the movie “2012” in diverse cinemas to raise awareness to global warming. You can see the making-of inside the post.

Some words from the author:

The topic of global warming is getting back in focous at the moment through the Copenhagen Climate Summit 2009 and movies like the Hollywood blockbuster “2012″. For the client Greenpeace we want to make use of this by placing their own trailer for global warming in cinemas. We made a melting 2040 completely out of ice and let it melt to symbolize a countdown. We didnt use any CG for this project which was quite fun and something different, for details please check the making of (vimeo.com/8120282). The trailer will be shown before the movie 2012 in diverse cinemas.
