Langara College: Rethink Scholarship

I’m really loving the creativity behind this video by Langara College in Vancouver. The video basically consists of a bunch of really awesome paper techniques coming together to convey important messages about the design process. Things like “don’t fall in love with your first idea” and “figure out what you want to say.” Simple messages that we sometimes tend to forget when we get so caught up in our ideas.

Belin Modern Street Culture

Belin is a contemporary urban artist true to the nature of modern street culture. In a magical twist of history, skill and beauty, Belin blends expressionism, surrealism, photorealism, graphic design and graffiti into a visual world without boundaries.

Belin started out painting over ten years ago, and now has a huge portfolio. His stone canvases can be mostly seen in his home town of Linares, which is a small town in Andalucia, Spain. If you ever get the chance go and see for your self! Each street is peppered with a piece of Belin.
