“Put A Lid On It” is a very  interesting project, designed by David F. Heatwole and organized by The Arts Collaborative, that started as a simple idea and started to grow into something bigger, uniting and inspiring people from all over the world.

The purpose of this project is to do something positive for the environment by saving the non-recyclable lids from going into the landfills and make art from it.

In this case they’ve re-created a Van Gogh painting all made of lids in the mural of the Red Brick Wall in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
